Mokveld is specialized in zero-cavitation control valves and valve solutions to mitigate hydraulic pressure transients (pressure relief). Energy dissipation valves are typically used in turbine or dam by-pass applications and water transmission systems / reservoir connections. Mokveld valves are suitable for use in pipelines (inline) and for submerged or free discharge.
In some ways the Mokveld axial control valve is comparable to a plunger (needle) valve, with the essential difference that our trim technology completely eliminates cavitation and its negative effects.
